South Brookfield Gardens

Thanks to an email from a reader, I have become intrigued by the south portion of the Brookfield Gardens area.

The area has a great selection of peaked-roof modern houses. I have been able to identify the builders of some of the houses, but others appear to be custom built or by smaller builders. I am always happy to hear from readers, so if you have insight into this area, please let me know!

Quite a few of the houses in the area were built by Dan McSweeney. The same builder constructed homes in Glen Cairn (Kanata). I only have the Glen Carin plans on file, but it appears that the same designs were built in Brookfield Gardens.

This house has a great profile.

Here are what the houses look like today.

A hand full of the houses in the area seem to be built by Edstan.

The house below looks as though it was built by Capital Building Industries.

The house on the right looks like it was inspired by the Quality Home Builder plan below...but the chimney is in a different location...

I am not certain which builder constructed the houses below...perhaps they were custom built.

These two houses look very similar to the Costain plan below - elevation B-62-T.
